Training for a Foundation of Respect from the Ground Up |

The hardest part about good horsemanship is remembering to never stop learning. It’s easy to become sloppy with the way we relate to our horses, but it’s really not fair to them. We owe them more and this clinic was a great reminder about how much more I had to learn, as well as how much I had forgotten. I left the clinic appreciating my young mare more than ever, for the horse she is and the horse she could be, with many new tasks and challenges to work on. What could be better than that?
